We had a super time at our Festival du Voyageur field trip back in February!
We explored the grounds, saw ice sculptures and re-enactments of voyageur life, wood carving, voyageur tools, and a wildlife preserve exhibit. We also made paper canoes, wooden figures called bonhomme gigueur, and played in the snow at the imagination playground. This was a great way to kick off our study of Manitoba's history!
